The guy who booked them in kept an eye on them for me making sure they could use the app and reminding them they could keep ordering food. What User doesn't like about The Chinese Buffet:
Came here with my 11 year old daughter at tea time, on arrival was asked my daughter's age (11) and was told she would be charge full price. Why are 11 year olds charged full price? It has on the door kids £6.50 and juniors £7.50 I'd love to know what age a junior is classed at? And it did not state on the door that 11 years or above will be charged £17! Served me Indian food instead and they all started covid
Took my Mum and Dad here. Staff were lovely, Tina remembering us from last time, the new (to us), manager, David and the new (to us), staff Simon, were so lovely. Took time to ensure we knew what to do, everything was ok, and we were ok. Food was delicious, came quickly, hot and very tasty. Well done chef. A total experience of great food, great atmosphere and of course, great staff. I fully recommend all of this to everyone who wants Chinese food in a lovely atmosphere and attentive, fabulous staff, at a very reasonable price. Thoroughly enjoyed thank you.
I don’t understand the good reviews on this. The restaurant looks great and the staff are attentive, but that’s the only positives. There is a complicated app system needed to order, although I’m not sure why. The app has photos of the food which is always a bad sign. The food bore no resemblance to the app photos. Everything was cold, apart from the water which was like warm. The standard Chinese sauces were served in teaspoon quantities. The meat was fatty and tasteless. The pancakes stale. Even the rice was congealed and cold. We left without finishing our meal. I wish I’d read to the bottom of the reviews before going.
Great meal very helpful staff you order food via an app on a smart phone they have free wifi it was pretty easy to follow seated and drinks on our table within 8mins and then we had time to look at the food to choose from on the app ,there was plenty of choices overall a happy experience the staff made the kids feel special
First time back at the Chinese buffet since before lockdown last year and we was not disappointed.. the new system they have regarding ordering your food on the app and receiving table service in my opinion is much better than being able to help yourself. It is really quick from ordering your food to being brought to the table and is hot and full of flavour.. I especially enjoyed the steak cooked to perfection for my liking. The staff are very helpful and are always looking after you in particular Parnel who prepared the dishes and came out to check on us to make sure everything was ok(which it was) to the girl who served us( black hair young girl can’t remember her name) and the manager Alan was very friendly and helpful. The staff are really nice and the atmosphere was really good.. we had a really nice time the kids loved it and we are already planning our next visit haha.. can’t stay away now it’s reopened.
