Eat in or takeaway, never had a bad serving of fish and chips, the hot curry sauce is fantastic as well. Defiantly the best fish and chips in Wigan I'm never left disappointed. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. View all feedback.
What Joanne O doesn't like about Seven Seas Fish And Chip:
After receiving recommendations, we decided to visit this restaurant and were extremely let down. The pies were served cold, the peas were cold and hard, and the gravy was overly thick. The only saving grace were the chips. The coffee and tea were so weak they could barely be tasted. The female waitress was pleasant, which was the only positive aspect of our experience. During this visit, we were left waiting at a table for ten to fifteen minutes while the girl at the till was chatting with someone who came in for a takeout order. Despite understanding that she was the only one working and had to serve both dine-in and takeout customers, there was no one else in the restaurant when we arrived, so she wasn't particularly busy. Adding to the frustration, the owner who was frying the fish also noticed us waiting to order, but instead of telling his staff member to assist us, he joined in their conversation. At this point, I got up and we left, with my son in tears because he couldn't understand why we were leaving. He had been looking forward to fish and chips from Seven Seas since we hadn't been there in a while. The silver lining is that after a short drive, we found an alternative all-day fish and chip restaurant in nearby Standish that was just as good and slightly better value. They were more than happy to take our order, so my son got his fish and chips in the end. In conclusion, Seven Seas, you have lost a semi-regular customer as I will now be taking my business to Standish.

All through the last 2 years, don't accept money. Contact free. Today go 10 Miles to the place don't accept contact less, only cash. So how do they delver, it's supposed to be a restaurant. Never again.

I ordered pie and chips last night. Unfortunately, the pie was extremely dry. It's safe to say that we won't be coming back.
