Beautiful environment, staff, service and delicious food. Was a bit disappointed in the lunch menu choice, but at the end it was all delicious. Would definitely go back.

Restaurant was empty lasted 30 minutes to get stale sandwiches and some warm Scones.i booked these believe that there was £45 per pair when I came to pay the bill I almost fell over when I was charged £90 for foods that around £8 maximum absolute daylight robbery left hungry and extremely dissopointed

Nice environment and friendly staff, but service was not very attentive as soon as we were served. Very hard to get the attention of the staff and no one has checked if everything is okay. A menu where the available teas and tisanes are listed would also have been appreciated instead of just asking if we want tea or coffee. The food itself was good.

I was so disappointed by food more than a 2 stars than 4 stars. Soup was sent back as warm, Sea Bass was good but potatoes not cooked, green vegetables cold even Sticky Toffe pudding cold.

The prawns in the prawns cocktail were rubbery and the sauce watery. It would have been nice to have had the traditional brown bread and butter accompaniment. The steak I had was rib eye, with skinny fries a mushroom, a tomato and peppercorn sauce. This was all well cooked and the steak tender apart from approximately a third of it was gristle which considering it cost £30 I felt made poor value for money. There is no menu on website so we didn't know what the choices would be but menu is limited and somewhat uninspiring. I have to say the waiting staff were lovely and helpful
