The staff appear to be more i... read more I have to say that the food is excellent, freshly cooked, hot and very big tasty portions. Unfortunately the service lets it down. The staff appear to be more interested in talking to each other or their friends who were in drinking. Not very attentive and we had to either go to the bar or try our best to get their attention when we wanted drinks. On top of this our mains came out whilst we were still on our starters. I would eat here again but service could be better.

The food and drinks were good and the staff were quite friendly. The only drawback were the toilets which would need improving and updating. Hopefully when we return this will have changed.

My husband had gammon and chips which looked fabulous and I ordered a ploughman's. I've got to say,it was the best ploughman's I've had anywhere. Beautifully presented and delicious. Staff were friendly too.If we are ever up this way again we will be sure to return.
