The bar staff were friendly and welcoming, clearly putting in a lot of effort. My friend's mixed grill looked appetizing. However, my Ruddles steak and ale pie was a bit disappointing; it should really be renamed Ruddles 99.9% pastry with just 0.1% steak—if you can even find any meat in it. On the bright side, I enjoyed the cask IPA. Overall, I would rate the service a solid 5.
I have been using this restaurant for a few years now as a pleasant and conveniently located spot for work lunches with colleagues from across the region.

Food and Drinks: Unfortunately, the food was quite disappointing for our family of nine. It would take a lot for us to consider returning. Service: 4/5 Hotel Highlights: Excellent value.
This lovely pub restaurant is conveniently located right above the highway bridge. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, making for a warm atmosphere. They serve a delicious breakfast and have a fantastic BBQ on Sundays, as well as a Sunday roast. Additionally, there’s a Premier Inn located at the back, making it a great spot for both dining and staying overnight.
