The seating isn't the most comfortable; some tables are so low they're nearly at your knees. But if you can get yourself a good table you're golden. I can't say the food is outstanding but it's decent for how cheap it is and the fact that you're kind of in a Irish dive bar. There's lots to look at, lots to drink, so you'll be pretty well entertained. I'll be going back for the drinks for sure.

It's small and cosy with a nice atmosphere. The decor is really vintage with a cool display of bottles behind the bar. Their whiskey menu is pretty impressive! The reason I am giving it only 4 stars is because the place was completely understaffed. One waitress/barmaid was running the whole show even though we'd made a reservation for 12 people days in advance so they knew it was going to be busy. On top of that there were a lot of other people waiting for drinks and food as well.

Literally thousands: We had the vegan schnitzel with Rösti, just excellent, probably the best vegan schitzel I've ever had. Rupps is worth the marginally remote location.
