The ambience from when we first walked in was great, and the layout and decor was fab. The service is extremely friendly which is most welcome. The star of the show was the food though we had classic Wiener schnitzel with potatoes which was a great example of a classic. We also had a version of a Middle Eastern dish “hamshuka” maybe) with hummus, beef, veg, oils etc which was stunning, served with two lovely pieces of bread and the freshest bowl of vegetables on the side. All served with a smile. A great find.

The manager was on his own and he some how m... read more We found this restaurant on our last night in Vienna. What a gem! The food was lovely and the service exceptional!! The manager was on his own and he some how managed to wait tables, clear tables and run the bar!!! We mentioned we were hungry so half way through the meal he bought out extra Vienna Schnitzel! We ordered a bottle of wine and he didn’t have the one we wanted so he bought 4 glasses of wine to the table for us to decide on which one we wanted. The owner of the restaurant arrived and sent shots to our table as well. Non of this we were charged for. The bill was ridiculously low and when we tried to give a 25% tip because we felt we had had an exceptional evening they wouldn’t take it saying it was too much!!! If you want a lovely Austrian meal with fantastic service please go to this restaurant we can honestly say this made our visit to Vienna!!!
