Große Auswahl an schönen Kartoffelgerichten - speziell an Ofenkartoffeln.
As always. very recommended. very large and extensive, very tasty seasonal dishes. very well visited restaurant therefore reservation to recommend
Very nice atmosphere, great service and very tasty eating! we're coming back, it's been all right????
Delicious food, great service and wonderful location. I would come back for another dinner when wiciting Wien again. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The last time I ate in a restaurant that prided itself on its potatoes, I was speaking at a conference at a hotel in Western Ireland. Forget the lemon meringue that was actually an Îles flottantes, the three types of potato of that overrated establishment was mash, mash with cheese, and boiled potatoes that were screaming out for cheese to rescue the blandness. Jonathan Sieglinde is not that establishment, not by a long Austrian country kilometre. What J S can 't do with potatoes is not worth mentioning. I came here with my 9yo daughter when my favourite nearby Gasthof was booked out, and am now cursing myself for not discovering it before. I had a potato pancake cordon bleu, which was absolutely wonderful. Around me I saw guests enjoying potato cream soup, various pfandl with potatoes and different accompaniments, and every conceivable way of making Walter Raleigh 's gift to Elizabeth I as interesting and tasty as possible. Even my daughter had amazing fried potato cubes with her Backhendl Strips. I didn 't try the wine list, but I discovered a new Dunkles (Specht) which is as light as a dark beer can be (almost red). All at an affordable price. All in an environment that is family friendly, with modern cooking but none of the pretension that can come with it (and Wien is the city for pretension as we all well know). J S Yes
