We love sea food and we were looking forward to try this place as we heard some lovely reviews. They didn’t have oysters as the weather hasn’t been great and couldn’t get fresh ones, I found that very honest. All what we ate was delicious and fresh and the price we paid was not too expensive but wasn’t cheep either. I would recommend this place if you are visiting the town and like to have some fresh sea food.

Delicious food, highly recommend The Lighthouse. It is one of the best seafood restaurants in the country. Whats more every thing was cooked perfectly.
This was our 3rd visit and we have had such a lovely experience in the past. Very disappointing this time. The food was not up to the usual high standard. It was expensive ... the dish we chose was the monkfish knowing it was expensive but it was a celebration meal so we thought we would treat ourselves, we were so disappointed, dry and tasteless. I booked the restaurant months ago as I know it’s hard to get a table. We were plonked right by the toilet. 2 people waiting on. When we were settling the bill the waiter ask if everything was ok. I felt it was pointless saying anything as it was just an automatic question they ask everyone. We just wanted to leave and thought we will not be returning.
