Our group was easily accommodated by pushing two tables together, but we chose to move because we were sitting right under a loudspeaker blaring music too loudly for comfortable conversation. We ordered roast beef, a veggie burger, and a regular burger. Everything was great except for the beef, which had been cooked too long and was dry instead of tender. Great if you like football, nightmare if you don’t! Gorgeous old pub but felt like a sports bar there were 5 loud TVs in view of my table showing the matches. Decent pub grub menu with the usuals of burgers, wings, fries etc along with some good vegan and veggie options. Definitely a place to come back to, but I’ll prob check the sport fixtures first!
Went for family meal at Phil’s. Staff super friendly warm and very accommodating! Portions were massive and very tasty! Kitchen had closed but they brought out a little token to celebrate a family members birthday!! Lovely atmosphere and chilled vibes. Would recommend to all!
Superb quality of food and excellent service by Heather and Christina Definitely worth a visit for the stew or seafood chowder
