Opera Cafe in Wicklow Town offers a bright and lovely atmosphere perfect for a casual evening or a coffee date. The friendly staff always provide amazing service and delicious food. The authentic Italian cuisine, cozy ambiance, and homemade desserts make it a must-visit spot. The expanded seating area and high-quality coffee add to the overall experience. While some dishes could use minor improvements, such as more sauce for the poached eggs and larger portions, the overall dining experience at Opera Cafe is delightful and reminiscent of a sunny Italian experience in cloudy Wicklow.

Was Mia Saur at Opera House a mag?
Opera House is a delightful place with a lively atmosphere, ideal for a relaxing evening or a simple coffee break! It truly stands out among other local spots. During my holidays, I missed having good coffee, but thankfully, I found Opera House. I’ll definitely come back if I have the chance! The welcoming staff make dining there a perfect occasion for enjoyable conversation. Thanks for the great company! View all feedback.

What Joanne Kavanagh dislikes about Opera House:
Nice coffee. Ordered a crosssint , got it on a plate with no butter Jam or knife. How to go and ask at counter. The person at the counter was talking to someone and ignored me for ages. Not great service overall, but not food and setting. View all feedback.

We went to Opera for the first time this weekend and it was great the pastries are delicious and we also got one of their chilled pizzas that you cook at home. The Oreo cheesecake was incredible quite possibly one of the creamiest cheesecakes I’ve ever had, and their cookies are very tasty and fresh. We also got one of their cook at home pizzas and it turned out brilliantly, the dough was perfectly crispy and light and the toppings were flavourful. It’s the closest you’ll get to a restaurant quality authentic Italian pizza cooked at home. The staff were also very helpful in helping us to pick from the tempting assortment of cakes in Opera. We’ll definitely be back!

I used to visit Opera House bakery and restaurant almost daily because the staff are absolutely fantastic — always friendly, welcoming, and attentive. They create such a warm and inviting atmosphere. Recently, I've been coming mostly on weekends rather than weekdays. Unfortunately, the food quality during weekdays hasn’t been as consistent as before — sometimes it’s a bit sloppy, dry, or doesn’t meet the usual high standards. However, the weekend dishes are a completely different experience — beautifully made, well-prepared, and truly enjoyable. It feels like dining somewhere else entirely! Huge praise to the team for their excellent weekend service and food. I really hope the weekday menu can reach that same level again because when the food is good, it’s truly outstanding.
