What User doesn't like about La Locandina:
Waiting an hour for 2nd drink and food order hadn’t been taken. Had to leave.Edit: We we’re told it was busy and would see if there was space. We were not told it we would have to wait until everyone else ordered to order. When we left, nobody downstairs had food in front of them. We didn't have a booking the restaurant was busy but the staff nicely fitted us in. Food and service was excellent and great. value cant wait to return. Best Italian food i have had in ages
LA Locandina delivered to Brittas Bay yesterday. Really easy website. It was beautiful. We could not recommend it more. Fresh salads and gorgeous produce. Will definitely do this again for friends when you just don't feel like cooking.
This restaurant serves the most delicious pizza, with a perfect combination of fresh ingredients on a wonderfully soft yet crispy base. It is one of the best pizzas we have ever tasted. The Italian owner is delightful, very friendly, and helpful. We highly recommend visiting this restaurant.

The title says it all the pizza here is really outstanding. The base is thin and crispy, the toppings of very good quality. We had a selection of pizzas and they were all wonderful with one exception: the Rustica which appears on the menu as having potatoes and smoked sausages came in fact with topping of oven chips and what appeared to be a sliced frankfurter we were expecting perhaps sliced new potatoes and fancy German sausage. Service was speedy and friendly. Well definitely be back if in Wicklow. By the way, don 't be put off by the very run down looking exterior. In fact we thought at first that it was just a take away.
