Excellent stylish decor and good to see all the friendly staff smiling behind their masks. Great to see Liam behind his coffee machine area and remembering regular customers drinks and Stef seating everyone and her usual friendly self. What I am chuffed to nuts about is that they have put eggs benedict back on the menu and even more delicious than before. If I really have to comment negatively it would be the lack of a dimmer switch on the dazzling lights! I’ll get used to it I’m sure! So fabulous to have you back even better than before! See you again soon. Xxx

I visited Lilys today with a friend for a long awaited chat and treat . the scones and cakes were delicious I was slightly disappointed with the sandwiches . wh... read more I visited Lilys today with a friend for a long awaited chat and treat . the scones and cakes were delicious I was slightly disappointed with the sandwiches . when I visited before the covid lockdown . last aug the sandwiches were very good . they were made with bloomer fresh bread and they were cut into triangular shape . they were full of delicious fillings well when our sandwiches arrived on our table . I was disappointed they were cut into child size fingers with the crusts cut off and I could hardly taste the fillings as they were sparse . and the bread was supermarket med sliced its such a shame that the quality of the food and portion size has been reduced . the service was good . and the ambience of the tea Room is clean . but I shan't be returning for a cream tea any time soon . as I can buy better quality sandwiches in other Tea rooms . in hants . I do feel that mayby because of loss of revenue that lilys suffered in Lockdown . that is why the cream tea is frugal now . as apposed to the quality we experienced in Aug 19
