How lucky are we in the Pilbara to have such an Amazing area to be able to have a reasonable priced family lunch with views to die for ..

Take either Wickham Dr to the end and turn Right and follow the bitumen or from the Roebourne-Samson road take the short private access road(gated, usually open), takes you the to meet up with the Port Walcott rd. and past the Rio iron ore operations, cross the rail line overpass and follow the signs. about 12 k to Boat Beach. Sealed road now. Perched on the hill to the right is Port Walcott Yacht club. Parking available. Overflow can go down closer to beach and on beach. Lots of outside seating. No Dogs allowed. Very kid friendly enclosed by fencing, Icecream van. Small bar run by volunteers, very reasonable pricing for food and drinks. You can expect to wait about half and hour as it is very popular and busy. Friendly relaxed atmosphere, not necessary to dress up. Clean toilets outside. Space on lawn also.Walk along the beach or swim too! It's lovely. Remember to take a skipper!

The yacht club is the best place for lunch and a few beers on a Sunday. The fish and chips are excellent and the fish is locally caught. Perfect setting on a warm afternoon and then a swim at the nearby beach.

Sunday fish and chips are to die for and Cheap! A bit of a ( enjoyable) drive from Karratha but well and truly worth it . Bonus - beers are cheap too. The fish is freshly caught and cooked straight away choice battered or grilled. Super place ,rustic overlooking the ocean. Recommend you get there early.
