Point Samson Tavern

Visited October 2016 long over due review . Wow the best fish ever .. had red spotted Emperor Battered / and chips . Comes with a tarter sauce so tasty . We sat outside . Must admit the birds got on our nerves a little but it was quite amusing watching them .went back again during my stay and was just as good. Will be back in Dec 17 hope you will be open . We went to find a geocache and had lunch after. Very helpful waitress did grilled whiting for me as I can't have battered. Hubby had seafood basket which he struggled to eat as it was very generous.

Great seat at the window, even tho it was dark! Had fishermans basket and loved it, Kosciusko Pale Ale to drink and loved it. 2 other couples from The Cove Caravan Park nearby walked and had a lovely night.

Popped in here on a Saturday night recently. We ate downstairs in the informal area as we had children with us. Everyone enjoyed their meals apart from my husband whose Barramundi was raw and had to be sent back. Great location and great views overlooking the ocean. Lovely place to sit, relax, have a glass of wine and enjoy the good food on offer. Will try it again another time and go upstairs this time to the tavern. Recommended.

Great Lunch selection and a very cold beer. The scenery from the deck is excellent. We had a Burger and Curried Vegetables which was a great home made curry.
