Large views, and meals have improved considerably, not to see a hint of Koleslaw Very busy on Mother's Day, but the staff was great to pump meals, hot and tasty. Able to sit down on picnic table as well. Nice staff, very fast service even on a busy day. Meals looked great to be served and used with vibrating tiles, easy to sit anywhere and get quick food when ready.
We recently had one of the best pub meals in a long time at this restaurant. The beer-battered fish was fresh, crispy, and cooked to perfection. The plump tiger shrimps dipped in beer batter were also delicious and crunchy. The chips were crispy and served with a small salad. The staff members were lovely and the view from the restaurant was fantastic. Highly recommended.
Nice location, ordered the Spanish Mackerel and chips for $35. Two good sized pieces of overcooked Mackerel with some chips that must have been sitting in a tray for a while. Perhaps the oil was just old. Fish has some really hard bits. Dogs liked the chips. Have them a chance on second night, ordered garlic prawns, who could mess that up. Not these guys apparently. Although the Jasmin rice looked like tomato rice, which is a good thing to me. Prawns were enough in number and well cooked, could even eat the tails, found a few whiskers but whatever, the garlic cream sauce was the chicken dinner. Needed a bit more rice to soak up the sauce. I'd go back for that dish alone.
Better than expected pub food. But in the absence of seats, they are a victim of their own success.
Two members of our group ordered fish and chips, one chose calamari, another had a burger, and one opted for surf and turf. The calamari was slightly overcooked, but overall the food was fantastic. Our meals arrived promptly, including the well-prepared steak. We would definitely like to visit this restaurant again.
