What John Newill doesn't like about Wickenburg Golf Club:
I arrived about an hour before my tee time at around 6:15. No one arrived in the pro shop till almost 7. The course could use some better signage telling you where the tenth tee box is. I had no idea it was directly behind the 9th green. I had actually gone all the way back up to the pro shop. A few back tee boxes were also somewhat difficult to get to trying to climb up a very short but steep face to get to it. Gree... View all feedback.
It was a nice getaway and change of scenery without a really long drive. All the people I spoke to were very friendly. Even though it's a Par70 course it was nice as well and tests your skill level.
Spent a few days golfing over the forth of July weekend. Had a great time playing the course. Played early mornings to avoid the mid day 112 degree heat. Course was in unbelievable condition, considering the heat. Still amazed the greens were rolling so true. Not sure how they keep the greens is such good condition. Over the last five years the course has really seemed to improve great to know they're investing in the course. Cart path on a few holes winds thru a construction site (must be building a few homes on the course), a good sign really. Had lunch at the clubhouse after, drinks were great, food was great. Clubhouse/ restaurant has improved over the years too. Loved the off season green fees! WCC will always be a repeat for us!
Friendly, great staff. People oriented, very knowledgeable. Well maintained course and driving range.
Our vet moved from surprise to wickenburg…we were heartbroken!.. I just couldn’t think of using someone else to clean my baby girls teeth..(not to mention he is over 300$ less expensive!)We live in Sun City.. what are we going to do In Wickenburg for 7 hours??.. hey let’s go golfing!This golf course is super close to our vet Dr Leber.. so off we go.. what a beautiful course! It was in great shape and the scenery is gorgeous!.. not to mention the weather was perfect! All personal we’re super friendly and helpful.Couldn’t have asked for a better day golfing.
Went for lunch much better experience this time as they have new help and our lunch was absolutely delicious and reasonable.
