What Sarah Jones doesn't like about Cowboy Cookin':
Overcrowded in a small area, overpriced for bland food, and the staff people need to get some customer service training. Absolutely do not have any customer service skills and when a customer wants something you don't tell them you can't have more of anything because other customers ask for it and waste it. That has got to be the first time I wanted to scream at any stupid waitress lady for telling me I can't have mo... View all feedback.
If I could give 10 ??, I would!!! Originally ended up at a place in town and the entire vibe was off. It felt very uncomfortable. We left and ended up CC. SO GLAD WE DID! We are in town for 3 more days, and this will be our lunch dinnerspot. The prices are as excellent as their food! Their drinks are priced well and look wonderful (yet to try them, that?ll bethis evening. my husband had the pot roast special, he usually don?t eat a lot of food, his plate was cleaned in the blink ofan eye. I didn?t know what to get so I ordered chili cheese fries and shrimp cocktail. The shrimp were large and the cocktailsauce is homemade. It was too spicy for me, if you like spice, highly recommend trying the shrimp cocktail. If I had only onecomplaint, it would be that I wish there was more chili on the cheese fries but they were still good, and a heaping mound ofthem! It is such a cute, rustic little place full of memorabilia, horse parking, and a perfect atmosphere!
Great place to stop and get a bite to eat when your traveling between Phoenix and Vegas. I had the barbecue burger and it was delicious. My wife had the patty melt sandwich which she said was also very good. Very cool inside with all types of Westernparaphernalia and if the conversation gets slow you can always zone out on the continuous black and white westerns they haveplaying on several monitors in the restaurant. Lots of homemade desserts to choose from, we were both feeling and old fashionedhot fudge sundae and it was great!

Decided to stop in here after finding all the smaller eateries along the main road were closed in the late afternoon on a Friday. Glad we did because this place features clean restrooms, American desserts to take home with you after a good meal, and friendly service. This visit we tried the patty melt and a bacon cheeseburger. Iced tea was nice and strong. And okay, margaritas were also good! Fun spot for families, groups, kids after soccer practice, etc. Very good, casual and relaxed dining.
