How can I say that? The place is great! We have the 14 cheese pizza. My wife got the chicken and fruit salad, it's huge and delicious! The pizza was so good that my youngest actually ate the pizza crust (they usually did not eat) We had the apple cake, lemon cheese and peach/boliday cake for dessert. They were phenomenal cakes! What a great place for pizza!! We had thin crust cheese pepperoni and took homemade apple pie for later. The owner and his wife are super nice people. You gotta stop in!!
Hey, If you're in Wickenburg, or even just wanna go for a drive, it's worth stopping in for a meal at The Gila Monster Eatery. They make great food and are good people. Last time I was there, I had a Basil Pesto Pizza that was awesome. The Chef was trying out a fun appetizer and we ate that up, too! The time before, I had the Spinach and Artichoke Lasagna. It sounded Yummy when I saw it on the Specials Board, so I didn't really look at it before ordering. I Love Red Sauce, but, AFTER I had ordered, then read the description, I was concerned because this lasagna is made with White Sauce. It's not JUST ANY old white sauce....I'm NOT a fan of white sauce, but this was FABULOUS, melt in your mouth stuff and I loved it! I don't live too near Wickenburg, but I intend to make The Gila Monster Eatery A GO TO DESTINATION! Enjoy!
Do a favor. Get to Eatery and get there quickly! You'll probably need to grab yourself to make sure you don't just dream how excellent Justin's creations are. Because they're so good. Tonight I had the grill chicken pizza and was gobsmacked by the smoky cooking of the grill sauce! And as always, literally the BEST Pizza dough / crust I ever had and I am 100% Italian. I had to try a piece of Justin's apple cake and was so glad I did. The crust was perfectly baked, the pieces of the apple cultivated that slightly crispy her freshness announced, and Justin gave it with caramel, chocolate and lively almonds. Are you drowned yet??? The Gila Monster Eatery will always be my place if I want to treat someone special and of course if I want to treat myself! Thank you Justin for letting us all in your passionately perfect world of food.
Hidden gem alert! If you are in Wickenburg, AZ and find yourself looking for a good place to eat and you don't stop here, you are missing out! My family was passing through on our way home from Oatman, AZ and we found ourselves hungry. A quick search brought this establishment up. I am SO glad that it did! First off, the service was awesome! I am pretty sure we met an owner who was so sweet. We also met the chef. They were genuinely interested in how we had found them and our days travels. Second, the food! I have a picky pizza eater who never eats the crust, she couldn't get enough! Last, the pie! I don't think this place has a bad slice to serve. The Lemon Ches is enough to make this reviewer drive the 2 hours from San Tan Valley, AZ just for another slice of that lemon heaven! Peach blueberry? AMAZING. Apple? OUT OF THIS WORLD. Do yourself a favor, stop in. Enjoy the small biz and cozy atmosphere. Chat with the staff as friendly as old friends or long lost family. For the love of God, eat a slice of pie. You will not regret it. Thank you Gila Monster Eatery for treating my family to a memorable meal and for showing us that good ole small town hospitality! We are already looking for all the reasons to come back to the area just for another meal with you!

When you go through, it is a great place to stop eating for a bite!
