Wendy's - Wichita

This new Wendy's is a welcome addition to the south side. The food is pretty good. Sometimes, it is kind of prepared in a hurry. Sandwiches can get a little smashed. I feel like the quality was better when they had a few more older folks working there. The younger people get it done. There is just a little less finesse. Check that slogan again though, peeps. Don't cut corners!

I was throught the store, or I should say drive through, at 9:18 this evening. I was unable to go inside as there weren't enough staff to take care of the drive through window and patrons inside. They were short staffed and the Hostess was very kind and sorry about the situation. It was a bit of a longer wait than usual but I wanted what I came for so I waited. Closer to the first in line, I watched the Hostess hustling without signs of tiredness or lack of genuine care for each customer. What I saw was a seasoned, well oiled crew, hustling to get it all done and they did. And as I came up to the window, not once did I feel as if I were being rushed. I was fed, my order was perfect, and Evelynn with her crew of three, deserve all the kudos they can get. A store that Wendy's Corporate should be dam proud of.

Very disappointed. Had to wait for food like 20 minutes, which would not be much if fresh.. but what we got was old Stale / old fat pommes and my burger was not even cooked the whole way and taste of old fat as well. Don't eat there anymore. Quite sad had to go over the road to McDonald's where I quickly, hot and fresh my order.

The staff is very friendly and good. This is the second time in this business and both times it was extremely warm in how the AC did not work. We ordered frostys, but they were melted by the time we started eating. Please fix this store. I hate to escape for my Wendy's food supplement. I'll try again before I get you up.

Drive Thru was extremely slow, almost 20 min from drawing in to pull out. Several cars went out and went to McDonald's or Burger King. I placed my order through the app that seemed to take longer to retrieve the order and confirm that I had paid. Everything was fresh and correct, but the pommes were much too salty
