River City Brewing Company - Wichita

In decades of posting reviews, I 've never posted a negative one until now. We went in looking for an afternoon of day drinking and left (paid out) after the first round. It is Monday 7/3/23 and this was the worst horribly unfriendly female bartender I 've ever encountered in my 58 years of life. She successfully made us feel unwanted, unwelcome, gave us a tiny little margarita that was gone in 4 sips and was too busy to take a picture of us. She was rude to us, the other customers, her manager/helper behind the bar, the wait staff and never smiled one time the entire 30 min we were there. She has no business being behind a bar serving customers and I highly suspect she is one of the reasons River City Brewing has its review function turned off on Facebook. We paid out and left without leaving a tip (another first in my life), went next door to Sabor Latin Bar where we were enthusiastically greeted by a friendly male bartender (Michael) who made us drinks twice the size at half the price, had friendly banter with us, was funny, happy and seemed genuinely happy to welcome us to his bar!

We had a party of 4 and were seated right away, just at a smaller table. Service seemed a little slow, drink refills had to be asked for. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip, was over cooked. Our meals were good. I noticed the table next to us must have been friends of the staff because they received service from multiple people during the entire time we were there.

Love the server and service. Autumn is our favorite server. If you come regularly she knows what you want. She is friendly and prompt on service. She knows the foods and drinks. She makes great suggestions. Also attentive to all ages. Fantastic server!

River City Brewing Company is a fabulous place for soooo many reasons! We threw a birthday party there recently and what a blast. The food was good, the service was outstanding, and our waitress was highly responsive and accommodating to our group. There is super energy and vibes consistently at RCB. It is a superb place to have a party and to hang out with friends. Love you, River City Brewing Company!!
