Long John Silver's (70250) - Wichita

I had one piece of the fish and one hush puppy from this restaurant and got sick all night. This restaurant is terrible and the staff are incompetent. I rate the food 1 out of 5.

The worst service ever, several people waiting for 20 plus minutes for food! Don’t waste ur time at this place! Hire better staff! Handling the food with no gloves! I will never step foot in this place againFood: 1/5

I feel like it's a place that needs some work. Food was on point for them, cleanliness was under par but not terrible, service was okay with an interesting story.A homeless individual, God bless him, had a meal bought for him and was super excited to have it. It was like a $3 item too, so nothing crazy. He makes his order and pays, then goes outside to wait, probably out of self-consciousness. The order comes up while he's out. This other patron sitting there asks about it like we don't know who's it is and I tell him it was that guy that stepped out. He'll be right back, we're sure.Anyway, long story short, homeless guy comes back and his food is gone. The associate says she gave it to the guy that was asking about it because he said he'd give it to him. Nope, he straight just jacked a homeless guy's meal while I wasn't noticing. They did the right thing and remade it, but what an example of pure life.Part of me was laughing and part of me was beside myself someone would just jack a homeless guy's food.As for the store, giving someone's food to another customer? Yeah, they could have done better. At least they made up for it.Oh, they also don't have malt vinegar anywhere to grab and don't offer it. You have to ask for the packets behind the counter.Root beer tasted good though.

My husband went to get me my pregnancy craving. Fish and cheese sauce. It was a horrific experience for him. The entire store was filthy, the drink counter covered in trash and no option for sauces there. They were blasting explicit rap music so loud the cashier couldn’t hear his order and after he placed the order and paid for my milkshake they told him there was no ice cream. They were out of hot dogs, ice cream, chili, and corn. So I had to change some of my order. They gave him a lot of grief for asking for my cup of cheese sauce they didn’t put in the bag. It was just a terrible experience dealing with people who want to get paid to do nothing. Unacceptable. If I had taken my kids there to eat inside we would have had to leave due to their explicit rap music.

Just bought a shrimp “rice” bowl, waited 20 minutes in the drive through for it, to get home and find out my $9 “rice” bowl was just shrimp and lettuce.. I paid $9 for 8 pieces of shrimp and iceberg lettuce. It was great.Food: 1/5
