First time to sit in the Lounge area since it’s been glassed in, and loved the vibe with live music and enhanced Sunday buffet. Families were laughing and toddlers were dancing. Buffet options were healthy and flavorful and each dish tasted different. So special! View all feedback.
What Sherryn doesn't like about DŌma:
Our first visit here. We waited 15 minutes after being seated for service, no one came to our table so I finally got up and told the hostess. Our waiter came over finally and took our drink order and then our dinner order. There were three tables around us that came after us and got their drinks, food and ate and were gone before we got our food. We got there at 6:30, probably got our dinner ordered by 7:15, but didn... View all feedback.
The food we got was good, not great. For the price we paid I would have expected great.
We tried all of this plus spring rolls, halibut and more. We've had tapas and small plates at other restaurants and normally some dishes we love and some we don't, but we loved EVERYTHING we tried at Doma. Would highly recommend and would go back. Only complaint the chairs in the dining room look great but are cold metal. Bring something to sit on!
Dōma is a beautiful restaurant that is also a little pretentious. It is tapas style with a really good drink menu. The cocktails were upscale but really sweet. That’s okay cause my husband and I like sweet drinks. My server was nice but he was training a young lady as well. I would ask questions about the menu and he would have to run and ask someone else every time. I really appreciate when my server is knowledgeable about the menu. I asked what the vintage was on a wine, run and ask. Then the bartender didn’t know so my servers had to run and ask the manager. Then after all of that they were out of the wine we wanted. The cauliflower Kaarage was really good. I didn’t like the Korean short ribs. (They were pork… I don’t eat pork and I regret not asking if it was pork. Needless yo say but my husband finished the short ribs. I didn’t like the vegetarian spring rolls either. It was only cabbage and carrots inside. Realistically the food is meh. And we won’t be returning really. But it’s not a bad place at all. My standards are extremely high and I’m damn near impossible to please. I really think y’all should try this place.
Had the best time! all staff were great and friendly! the food was good. will come back and would recommend. love the ambiente!
The food was fine. Space is beautiful. My wife ordered a $20 entree that was just six shrimp and a little bit of sauce. We looked up pictures of the “Caramelized White Prawn” entree that she ordered and what we found online was so unbelievably different than what we received. Most expensive overcooked shrimp we have ever had.
