The bakery is really a sweet treat pies cakes scones cinnamon rolls all are yummy. I have to confess I think they have the best three layer carrot cake. I get it for family and work gatherings my birthday and everyone loves it, they make comments everytime. This is just a great place to stop and eat any meal. I enjoy breakfast almost daily. What Misty S doesn't like about Copper Oven Cafe & Bakery:
After we got our coffee, we were told they don't have cream. What?!? 3 dollar coffee with no cream? Neither of us drank any, and we were never offered an alternate. When paying, they asked if everything was ok. I told them about the coffee. He said OK. That was it. No attempt to make it better, and they still charged us for the coffee. Food very under seasoned. Copper Oven Cafe is one of the best Breakfast Restaurants in Wichita., We ordered a skillet, an omelette and a cinnamon roll. The ranch potatoes came with both dishes. All the entrées and side items were amazing and the cinnamon roll was definitely noteworthy. The service was very good and the staff was friendly. We only tried breakfast so we plan to go back and try more other menu items. I highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast.
Nice diner, kept up well. While I was there a lot of people were at the dessert counter. Didnt try any but the pies looked nice. Chicken fried steak, pasta and pork chops were all in approval with our party. No complaints.
Been here 7 years and this is my first time visiting. Staff was super friendly, and atmosphere was welcoming. The place was packed for a cold Saturday morning 9am. Will be returning to try more things
We found this out of this way bakery/restaurant in a small strip off 13th Street on the west side of town. The inside is cute, with an older design. Everything looks clean, open, and warm. The waitress we had was superb!!! She was an impressive add with a great personality! Fun, helpful, sweet, and funny! The food was good, hot, and a huge portion of everything! Ordered the chicken fried steak. It was good. The biscuit was beyond great. (Think i need 10!!!! The bakery was smaller than expected, but the options available looked amazing! Definitely will come again!!
My favorite hole-in-the-wall place. Every single server is super cool and we've made friends with a couple of them. The food is great, the staff is great, and I visit here very often.
