Vora European - Wichita East

This is the best dining experience I've had in Wichita thus far. This place has everything going for it: the food, the service, and the wine. Our server, Kayla, was very prompt, polite, and thorough. I noticed that the restaurant had an extensive and unique wine portfolio and Kayla gave us a little background on how it came to be. The wine and dinner were phenomenal. Came in randomly with my wife for the first time with no reservation and it did not disappoint! Our outstanding server Michael Glover really took our Vora experience to the next level. Possibly the best Margherita Pizza we’ve had, wife loved her Parisian Chicken, and we realized mid dinner that today was our anniversary of meeting each other and he went above and beyond to create a special occasion. Went on NYE and were seated on time, which doesn't happen a lot on NYE at most popular restaurants. Servers were very friendly and the food was spectacular. I have not had a better filet in years. We could see the kitchen getting backed up for about 20 minutes but they were able to work it out super quickly. Excellent staff on both sides of the house. Tables were way too close together for how crowded the restaurant was.

Vora is my favorite happy hour spot. They have a limited menu that is delicious and varied and the drink offerings are great as well. There is something for everyone. Of course, if you don’t want appetizers, you can feast on high end Italian. The best part is the staff. They care about your experience. Our last waiter was so excited because he introduced me to a new drink and I loved it. He was so proud to be the one who encouraged me to try it. They burnt my steak and everyone I dined with was done eating before my food came back out. I asked for medium and the steak was literally black and charred on the outside. Brown all the way through. The waiter even took my entire plate away while waiting so I couldn't even eat my side dishes while waiting.
