I had a lovely time on Wednesday morning. The parking situation was convenient, and the menu offered a fantastic variety of dishes that were all quite tasty. On busy nights, the food service can be a bit slow, but it’s definitely worth the wait. Unfortunately, we didn't win the quiz. Overall, I would rate the service 4 out of 5 and the location 5 out of 5. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Eyre:
I made a reservation directly by calling the hotel a day in advance, and a woman confirmed my booking for the last available room. However, after working a long 12-hour shift, I arrived only to find that there was no reservation for me. The staff attempted to deny that anyone had spoken to me. Ordered 2 pc of fish and chips, the portion was underwhelming for the price...
Superb breakfast at the Eyre Pantry. Awesome food, great coffee and friendly service. Whilst we were there, the hotel manager showed us the new bedrooms which had been tastefully renovated. I will definitely stay here on future visits.
Staff were very friendly and obliging. Had a nice meal as a family of 5 on a Tuesday evening, all though it did take 45min. for mains to be served and the hotel didn't appear to be busy. Enjoyed all meals as presented. Would return next time in Whyalla.
Food was outstanding, we had the scotch fillet steak, cooked to perfection. Wish that the hotel was in Adelaide well done chef
