Was Belle V at Phoebe's a mag?
Unfortunately we came in during the off season. Right now they only offer the walking guided tour which is really interesting. If you're a big fan of Western or cowboy movies, this place is a must for you to visit. We learned so much about the old Western movies that were really popular from the past. The tour guide is really informative. If you're planning to visit during this hot season make sure you put on your su... View all feedback.
What Oren P dislikes about Phoebe's:
Way overpriced! Come early to see all 3 shows. Plan to stay at least 4 5 hours in order to do so and to get your money 's worth . Personally, I can 't justify the cost. If you are really into the Old West , AND have a car and some time to explore, consider visiting Tombstone, instead. View all feedback.
Nightfall Had an absolutely amazing time. A little tired from running and screaming well organized and many scary houses. I was actually surprised how many there were. Actors did a great job!!! I saw bad reviews in previous year but I am happy for them that I see more good comments this year. I can't compare because this was my first time but I highly recommend it. There are many haunted house events throughout the country during Halloween season but the setting in Old Tucson is unique. Regular season I've been to Old Tucson during regular season and it is fun also. It's a must visit place if you are a Western movie fan. I didn't grow up watching it but still enjoyed it. My in law from Peru were big fans and they both loved it!
Date night with my boo. Enjoying an evening with a Fleetwood Mac cover band. Drinks are on an extra spicy Michilada and a **** Mary for my sidekick. I had a Mexican hotdog that came with scrumptious refried beans (sorry, honey).

The tour guide is really informative. If you're planning to visit during this hot season make sure you put on your sunblock, wear a hat and bring water. We are looking forward to their Winter season attractions. Also they have this souvenir shop at the gate, and they have lots of interesting stuff to buy.
Old Tucson is not a bad place to visit. It's a dusty ol' town that makes you feel like you're right there in the old wild west. Make sure you do the wagon ride and train ride because you get to see some things that are off limits to walking. The mine attraction was pretty fun. Our tour guide tried his best to add drama. The shows are good; I liked the outdoor shows the best. The food is pricy and there isn't much there if you're on a vegan diet. I'm gluten free and had the chicken leg meal with chips and potato salad. I had no reaction, so all went well. We spent about 4 hours here. There was one last show, but we got tired of waiting around so we just left. The admission price is kind of steep for what few attractions they have to offer.
We visited Old Tucson on Saturday, March 18th. Once all the taxes and fees were added, it was $40.07. Parking was free, but it turns out that is one of the charges that the county tacked on since they own the parking lot.$40 seemed to expensive.....$30 sounds about right. But the admission includes everything except food. There should also be a senior discount. We saw 3 shows: A street gunfight it was ok. A saloon melodrama funny, but about 10 min too long. And the mission shoot out. By far the best and really good. The actors interacted with the audience before the show, and were quite funny. The falls from the mission and other stunts were very impressive. We road the train, always fun. But I missed the spiel that they used to have. I was told they are working on bringing it back.We did the mine attraction. It was interesting. I remember it having track and a mine car. Now you just walk through it. Once they get some money, they need to bring back the cars and add some effects. The space that they are using was actually pretty impressive. The shooting gallery (also included) was fun, but it seemed to be impossible to miss. LOL.We did the wagon ride. It was actually very nice. Only comment, and this is kind of a big one to us. The man that guided the horses had a good sized confederate flag tattooed on the back of his neck. His hat hid it from most people, but those of us in front all noticed it. He has the right to have that tattoo on his neck. But I would think twice about having him interacting with guests at my park. The flag is not innocent and stands does for racism. One person in our group who happens to be African American got very quiet. I could tell it upset him. Not the kind of feeling you want to get when spending some time in a theme park.Food was a bit pricey on some items. $16 for a basic burger seemed a little high. But $7 for a large pretzel (that was fresh and heated right then in the oven) was great. Also $5 for 2 scoops of ice cream seems like a good deal.We were only able to spend 4 hours in the park, but I could have spent probably just a long doing the tour and just walking around. So I will be back.It was great to see the park re opened. Kind of sad to see the things that were gone (like the antique cars). But hopefully they will be able to build it back up year after year. We did hear they were filming again, which is great news.Oh...and on a last note, EVERYONE that worked in the park that we talked to were EXTREAMLY friendly. They seemed to enjoy their job and were grateful we were there. We will be back to see the things we missed. Hopefully they can keep the shows fresh year to year, and keep expanding on the park to keep the locals coming.
