Piara Pizza - Whittier

Ordered: custom large pizza with mushrooms, pepperoni, bell peppers, red onion. Hot wings. Pros: open during a holiday, so thank you! They also followed through with our light cheese, extra sauce request. Wings were great, pleasantly spicy. Cos: Their default pizza crust doesn?t taste much like anything and is on par with pre-baked Boboli crusts. Mushrooms looked and felt like they were from a can. Very sparse vegetables, diced/sliced incredibly thin. Suggestions for the restaurant: use fresh mushrooms. Offer aromatics as options: fresh minced garlic, basil, oregano. Use a more rustic, homemade dough.

My church often orders the deep dish cheese Piara pizza. It's so good. That crispy crust? ? Naturally I assumed their other pizzas would be equally yummy. I ordered the regular veggie pizza. The veggies tasted like they were from a can. I'm not sure what was going on with the cheese. The dough and sauce were bland. I ended up eating only the veggies and crust. I will say that their customer service is top tier. One of the workers was even nice enough to offer me a discount on a pizza that hadn't been picked up. I think I'll just stick to the deep dish. Maybe the meat pizzas are tastier.

Great service great price. I had a large pizza with pepperoni extra pepperoni half jalapeno off the charts. Also had a order of hot wings they were nice and crispy just how I like them.

The pizza was delicious and earned a solid 4 out of 5 stars, but unfortunately, the wings were disappointing. On a positive note, the staff was very friendly!

Best cheese pizza for under $9! I had a large during my lunch break and there was a 10-15 minute wait for simple orders. I recommend this place if you don’t mind waiting around 15 minutes. The staff had a great attitude, making the experience even better—delicious food served by friendly people!
