I tried the beef plant soup, and while it was decent, I found it to be too pricey. I won't be dining there again. No thanks!

I believe this is the best menu item in the city that I've tried. No one prepares it better, without a doubt. You have to give it a try; you'll love it! If you're interested in extra hominy, we can provide it at a great price. Big Bowl Home Tortillas is a must-visit!

I’ve been coming here since I was 16, and you never disappoint. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food, which is excellent. Not only is the customer service fantastic, but I also really love their salsa! I’ll always make it a point to eat here whenever I’m in Whittier.

I have been driving by here for years and finally decided to stop in for lunch. Wow what have I been missing. Although it wasn?t very busy inside the restaurant, the lunch pick up orders were out of control. During the time I was eating the flow of people didn?t stop and after tasting the food I completely understand. I ordered Camarones a la diabla, which is my go to plate when trying new places and I was very pleased with it. The shrimp were good size and had the tails already removed, the sauce was spicy but not over bearing for my taste and the beans and rice were flavorful. There are a number of other items on the menu that I want to try so I will be back soon. Stop in and try it for yourself.

At first glance it might not seem much. But the service and the food are at a whole new level. The employees are so polite and respectful to you and the food are actual real Mexican food. Like homemade Mexican food. Definitely coming back here and you should try it if you have the chance.
