A dozen of us dropped in for lunch while riding thru The Park. (we had reserved) All meals were reported to be excellent. My shrimp taco's were very tasty, and my bride tells me that her Greek Salad with Chicken was the best she's ever had. It's the dish she orders everywhere, so trust her on this. Fast, friendly service, quality food, in an area where they really have no competition for miles around. View all feedback.
What mmhiorns doesn't like about The Mad Musher:
Closed so can’t give more than one star. Nice guy told us it was shut! Just wanted to inform people as we left Algonquin after 5 nights looking forward to a meal: View all feedback.
This restaurant is a fantastic choice for some delicious Mediterranean-inspired dishes. We decided to try the special, which was the beef dipper, and we were not disappointed. The beef was tender and flavorful, and the gravy was absolutely delicious. The beer selection was excellent, and the service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!
We had a fantastic meal today. Ang provided excellent service. It was convenient being able to snowmobile right up to the restaurant. I highly recommend making the trip.
Don't just pass by this restaurant without giving it a try - appearances can be deceiving! This place offers more than your average roadside menu, with a chef who skillfully combines a variety of culinary cultures. I highly recommend the pork loin chop with chipotle raspberry compote - it was amazing! The staff is incredible, providing friendly and knowledgeable service. I highly recommend this restaurant.
7 of us stopped in for a late lunch and we can’t say enough good things. Truly a hidden gem. Staff (Ang) amazing and very friendly/kind and accommodating. Food, we all had different items and all were amazing with good portions. Thank you we will definitely be back. Support these small communities so they are there when we need them.
We were staying at a local upscale place that had food that was lacking any flavour. We went on a hike and when we returned we saw this place!! I was like PLEASE let's go in. Anything is better than what we were eating at the resort. We were greeted by Miss Kyla who was also our waitress and she was a gem!!! A kind, gentle soul you could tell! She was a sweetheart! My partner and I both ordered the same things kind of. We ordered the sausage on a bun with homemade relish and dijon. The snap of the sausage was heaven! The bun was perfectly toasted. The homemade relish was fantastic! I ordered mac n cheese with bacon as my side. OMG SO GOOD! Creamy and rich. Not too salty. Perfect really! To be honest I forget what my partner's side was lol I want to say caesar salad. It was great I'm sure. Oh, and their coffee was fantastic too!! Roasted nearby. The artwork on the walls had me in love with Algonquin even more so than I was. Funny enough I said If I didn't have any ties here I'd move there, work at the mad musher and be happy! lol It was a great experience.
