There is no better finish to your park visit than dinner at the Bartlett Lodge Restaurant. My wife and I were visiting Canadian friends for a week and they arranged for dinner here. Although our hosts are long time friends of the lodge's owners, our dinner did not reflect anything special because it didn't have to! Every course from start to finish was exceptional. What Precious Hickle doesn't like about Bartlett Lodge Restaurant:
Wir essen sehr viel in "Fine-Dining"-Restaurants. Und dieses ist sein Geld (155.- Dollar zu zweit) definitiv nicht wert. Einfaches Ambiente. Bison (angeblich 18 Stunden gegart) war recht zäh, Vorspeisen waren durchschnittlich. Gute Alternative: Arowhon Pines Restaurant! View all feedback.
Bartlett Lodge is a part of Algonquin Park history, and the restaurant is well appointed with park memorabilia and a comfortable North woods style. The staff is friendly, well informed on menu choices and the meal portions are good.
We stayed at Bartlett Lodge for 6 nights and had the pleasure of dining at the restaurant each night.Staff and owner.....brilliant and very friendly and look after your needs.Food......brilliant.A very special restaurant in a very special place. Thank you for such a memorable stay.
See my review on Bartlett Lodge to read more about the food. Note that the number one item to eat for dinner is the Tom Thompson trout dinner. You will not be disappointed.
We came up from the Landscapes Resort by the lake of Bays to explore Algonquin Park. We were lucky because we called at the last moment and got a reservation for the second seating at 8 p.m. We were greeted by Marilyn the owner and had a lovely view of the lake. We had an extraordinary meal with strawberry spinach salad tenderloin and the ever-so-popular strawberry rhubarb pie. You get there by parking at the landing and taking a boat ride to the restaurant and The Lodges. All in all a magical experience that we hope to enjoy again in the future. If you are in the area don't miss this experience but do bring your own bottle of wine.
In a great location-when was the last time you got a boat to a restaurant? Food was local fresh and tasty. staff are very friendly and accommodating. I would also recommend staying here.
