I noticed that the gas pumps that are usually operational on Saturdays were out of service that d... read more I visited this WaWa on March 12, 2022, at 11:41 AM to get gas. I noticed that the gas pumps that are usually operational on Saturdays were out of service that day, and there were only two or three other cars in the lot besides mine. I waited about 10 minutes for help, and when an older employee finally approached my window, he rudely remarked, "I think you want service." Given that New Jersey is moving towards self-service gas, yes, I certainly did need assistance to fill my tank. I don't typically linger at gas pumps for enjoyment! Earlier that week, I had a similarly frustrating experience at this location. A younger employee was rude when I attempted to use my debit card. He insisted it had been declined and implied that I didn’t have any money in my account, despite me assuring him that I had sufficient funds. Ultimately, I had to use my credit card and requested $10 worth of gas. He seemed astonished and questioned my request. It seems that WaWa could benefit from improving the customer service training for some of their staff. I've been visiting this WaWa for years without encountering rudeness from employees until just this past week.
