They got their drinks,... read more Horribly slow service, poor management. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. A couple sat down at the table next to us *after* we sat down. They got their drinks, meal and dessert and paid before we even got our dinner. We were offered a voucher that took 10% off one entree which only took $3 off our meal and we still paid $80 for subpar food and treatment. We waited for 2 hours for a burger and greasy over cooked fish and chips. When we brought up our concerns with a manager, we were told “some things on the grill take more time.” Save your money, eat sand.

It only had 4 ahead so given the high number of free tables it felt like it would be quick. Turn out to be 1.5 hours, not only for us.Improvement suggestion: Communication could have been better (let people know of the wait time) or even better yet... seat people, offer a drink, and let them know it can take a while. But empty tables for no apparent reason to incoming customers, not good.Not many options out there midday, its this or the place next door, others only later in day.

The worst part is that this is sadly one of the only places to eat in the cove.Never again.

This spot has the most amazing location—you'll find yourself wishing for a plane and a private pilot's license. There's a small airport where you can fly directly into Shelter Cove, which many affectionately call The Lost Coast. The owners are truly wonderful people who care about the community and run an outstanding establishment. They host enjoyable events throughout the year, but our favorite experience is just coming here in the evening with friends to savor dinner and drinks around the outdoor firepit. I tried the BBQ burger, and it was absolutely delicious. The service is excellent, and the breathtaking location makes it truly unbeatable!

I really appreciate the story behind the establishment. The atmosphere is laid-back, and the nighttime lighting is just right. I had the delicious salmon burger, which was exactly what I needed after spending five days in the wilderness. I highly recommend this place to everyone!
