Edge Bar and Grill - Whitehorse

Tonimoes offers mediocre food with slow service and high prices. Cold, bland food, blah decor, service was ok but slow. Not worth the prices at all

We stopped for a quick breakfast and got exactly what we wanted. The special was very reasonably priced and tasted fine. The kids enjoyed their bottomless pop and we had our own coffee urn to dole out. The waiters were friendly and efficient.Nice place to eat.

Service was ok, only half full at lunch not a good sign. The special was fish and chips. We ordered that, the waitress never mentioned it was not cod or halibut but breaded salmon. For the price I expected Halibut, battered and deep fried. Mine was ok but disappointing since that is not what I expected, my wife was not impressed with her breaded salmon and she really likes salmon. It will be awhile before I return

I couldn't believe this actually happened! We were with a group of people and one sandwich was served with a tiny morsel of egg salad between two pieces of bread. When the customer asked what was happening, the waitress said, "oh yea, they ran out of egg salad in the kitchen". She made no attempt to find a substitute or even to comp the bill. I was shocked! Other issues - empty water glass for the entire meal. Slow to give us the check and even slower to pay the bills.

Reasonable for breakfast but lunch menu not very impressive or great. I will go back for breakfast but not lunch. Lunch menu needs to be varied more.
