Authentico is a hidden gem with beautifully simple and beautifully cooked dishes. They offer the best slow-cooked meats and are one of the few cafes of this kind left in Melbourne. Run by Greeks, you may even find Mama there. Don't hesitate, just go - you won't be disappointed. View all feedback.
Authentico is many things and seems to do them all well. It is an early opening place for breakfast. It also does take aways for lunch and offers much from freshly made to order sandwiches, to toasted sandwiches, to burgers. While I found my coffee too bitter to my taste (I often find this), my salad roll was made exactly as I wanted it, with the freshest of ingredients. Do not be put off by the busy road outside, it is cosy and quiet inside.
