I recently stopped by the KFC on Broad Street in Whitehall, only to find out they were out of chicken and pot pies. The staff suggested I head to the KFC on Main Street in Columbus, Ohio. Unfortunately, after spending $37 there, I was let down to discover that the chicken was cold and the service was quite rude. When I inquired about the availability of chicken, given my previous experience, it seemed to annoy the employees. Although the pot pies were hot, they were lacking in chicken. From now on, I think I’ll be choosing Popeyes instead.
I ordered a 3-piece meal at 8 PM, and the chicken tasted like it had been left out for hours. I tried calling the restaurant, but no one picked up, so I reached out to corporate instead. After waiting two weeks, I finally got a call offering to replace my order. When I returned to the same location to pick it up, I was met with a barrage of tough questions about what had gone wrong. Two staff members even came out from the kitchen to stand next to me while I explained that the chicken tasted stale. When my new order was finally brought to the counter, they insisted I check everything to make sure it was satisfactory, but their tone was far from friendly. I will never return to KFC again.
Be sure to place your entire order at the kiosk. I visited KFC at 8:09 PM when there was no one in line or inside. However, when I returned to add a forgotten item, they refused to let me add just one more at the window. The customer service was disappointing and seemed unprofessional. I won’t be coming back.
I'm disappointed with the recent changes at this KFC location. The staff, who were once fantastic, now come across as rude, unhelpful, and seemingly uninformed. They refused to take drive-thru orders, demanding that all customers order inside. After finally going in, I waited a long time before anyone helped me at the register. When I placed my order, the employee entered my side items without asking for my preferences, and I had to remind her. She also had a noticeable attitude throughout our interaction. I asked for my food to be extra crispy, but when I checked before leaving, it was the regular version. When I brought it up, she argued with me, wrongly insisting I had ordered the original. To make matters worse, I didn’t even receive a receipt. Despite the low number of customers, service was slow, and the staff’s behavior was unacceptable. I’ve decided to go to the E Broad St location instead, where service is faster and friendlier.
