Was craig armstrong at Bone Ends a mag?

Good food and good service. I wanted to have a small sandwich, so I ordered the pulled pork off the kids menu. It was still a decent sized serving. Sandwich and fries were $6 plus tax. View all feedback.

A really good place in Whitehall. The type of place it is, is actually quote hard to pin down, as there are a bunch of great options here, from a variety of tacos to salads to honey Sriracha Mac cheese, which I got last time I was here. All therestuff has a really good kick of spice. The staff is also helpful and friendly.

We stopped in for lunch today and had the Pulled Pork Sandwich and 1/2 rack of ribs. Both were wonderful. The ribs were ?fall off the bone? tender and the BBQ sauce was excellent. And that is from a guy that is not a big fan of BBQ sauce !!! This was ourfirst time in, BUT we will be back. Great experience, thank you

We found this place randomly during Jeep Invasion. Not a bad choice at all. The black beans could have been warm but really overall, price, portions, service was awesome! Glad we found ya all!

We're out of towners from the metro Detroit area and chose Bone Ends on a whim, one of the best non-decisions we've made for food! The birria tacos were some of the best I've ever had, just the right amount of spice. The fries are crispy and reminded me of the thick cut fries you get a fairs, phenomenal! Awesome interesting pairings in the tacos and burritos. Friendly sides and kids menu. Would be a regular place if we were locals. Go here! The staff were very friendly, sadly the food was not as good. We got the pulled pork burrito, the entire burrito was pretty much just meat there was maybe a tablespoon of the other fillings in there. That might have been okay if the meat wasn’t incredibly dry and had no flavor. The cauliflower tacos and black beans are delicious. The black beans have been prepared differently recently, and I think it's an improvement. They used to taste overly limey, but now they are more subtle. The chickpea BBQ is decent, and I still order it occasionally for a change. I'm disappointed that they don't offer any jackfruit options, though.

I absolutely adore the high quality of food and service at this restaurant. They are also very accommodating for vegans and willing to make substitutions or alterations to suit our dietary preferences.

I used to rely on their veg head tacos as the only vegetarian/vegan option, but they have since added two new vegan entrees to their menu. The Buffalo Cauliflower Tacos are absolutely delicious, with crispy cauliflower smothered in buffalo sauce, vegan slaw, and guacamole. I highly recommend ordering them with a side of beans. The Chickpea BBQ Sandwich is tasty, but the patty is quite soft - a bit too soft for my liking. Be sure to specify that you want the vegan slaw side, as they also offer a vegetarian creamy slaw. The Tex mex beans are my favorite side dish, but keep in mind that the fries are cooked in a shared fryer with meat products. The mac and cheese contains meat, so it is not suitable for vegetarians. If you have dietary restrictions, make sure to ask and clarify before ordering. I have noticed bacon in the mac and cheese at catered events in the past.

I was in the area visiting family for about a week. This area is basically a vegan desert. I was really excited to find not only a vegan option, but something labeled as vegan! And at a BBQ place of all places! They have a chickpea sandwich and Mexican beans as labeled vegan. The fries are technically vegan, but they use a shared fryer, so they don’t label them vegan. I was pretty disappointed with the sandwich. It wasn’t horrible, just super bland. I expected more in flavor from a BBQ place which rely heavily on yummy spices and sauces in general. I asked for extra BBQ sauce and that seemed to do the trick. However, it was something that I was sure was vegan so that did help! The fries, on the other hand, were incredible. Some of the best fries I’ve ever had. Double fried and crispy. Yum! I think they have potential to get better. Just use some of the BBQ rubs spices in the chickpea patty!

I used to rely on the vegetarian/vegan options at this restaurant, but they have since revamped their menu. They now offer two vegan entrees and a new vegan side dish. The Buffalo Cauliflower tacos were the best I've ever had, with crispy cauliflower, buffalo sauce, vegan cheese, and guacamole. The Chickpea BBQ Sandwich had good flavor, but the patty was too soft for my liking. Make sure to ask for the vegan version of the dishes, as some items may contain meat or dairy products.

I was visiting family in the area for a week, and was pleasantly surprised to find a vegan option at a barbecue joint. They labeled a chickpea sandwich and Mexican beans as vegan, although the fries were not completely vegan due to the oil used. The chickpea sandwich was a bit bland, but adding extra BBQ sauce helped. The fries were amazing, crispy and delicious. I think the restaurant has the potential to improve by incorporating more BBQ spices into their dishes, like in the chickpea patty.

For a long time, their only vegetarian/vegan option was the Veg Head Pockets, which came with ranch dressing that could be swapped for a vegan grill sauce. Since then, they’ve removed those from the menu and added two vegan entrees, along with a new vegan version of their Shiny side. The vegan entrees are: 1. Buffalo Cauliflower Tacos – These are the best tacos I've ever had! They feature slightly crispy, charred cauliflower tossed in buffalo sauce, served with vegan shiny and guacamole sauce. I always get the drills as a side. 2. Chickpea BBQ Sandwich – The flavor is good, especially the BBQ sauce, but the chickpea patty is very soft and almost melts in your mouth, which feels like an unusual texture for a sandwich. I expected a firmer patty. As for the sides, the vegan shiny is great—just be sure to specify you want the vegan version, as they also offer a vegetarian creamy shiny. The Tex Mex bean side is my go-to and very tasty. However, the fries are cooked in the same oil as fish and meat products, so they aren’t strictly vegan or vegetarian for those who care about cross-contamination. The mac and cheese contains meat, so it’s definitely not vegetarian—if you want to be sure about any dish’s status, it’s best to ask and clarify. Overall, the vegan options have improved a lot, but it’s worth double-checking some dishes if you have strict dietary preferences.

I was visiting family in the area for a week and came across a vegan spot called Bone Ends—a vegan desert in the middle of a BBQ joint! I was really excited not only to find vegan options but to see them clearly marked as vegan, especially at a place known for BBQ. They had a chickpea sandwich and a Mexican bean dish labeled vegan. While the sides are technically vegan, they share a fryer with non-vegan items, so they aren’t completely vegan. I found the sandwich a bit disappointing—not terrible, just very bland. I expected more flavor from a BBQ spot, which usually excels in bold tastes and sauces. I asked for extra BBQ sauce, and that definitely helped. At least I was sure the sauce was vegan, which was a relief! The fries were amazing—some of the best I’ve ever had: double-fried, crispy, and delicious! I think the restaurant has great potential. They just need to add some BBQ rubs or seasonings to the chickpea patty to really bring the flavors to life.
