Top quality traditional Irish food, bacon, cabbage and mash. Proper grub. Lovely. Guinness good. And nice atmosphere.
It's a cute place with lovely staff and locals, great food as well. Can only recommend going there if you are in the area.
Excellent food! We had roast beef and fish (cod) and chips. All done amazingly well. Warm friendly service. Will be back when we are over that way in Clare next time. Highly recommended.

A hidden gem in Co. Clare! The Half Barrel offers a wonderful atmosphere with some of the best homemade food I 've had in a long time. The portions are huge, and the value for money is excellent. The staff are incredibly welcoming and professional, making us feel right at home. Great service and a lovely local feel—highly recommended!
