We brought US friends here for lunch last Friday. There had been a wedding party that filled the place. There was a table available for us. The waitress could not have been more attentive. The food was Fabulous!!!!! Fish n chips, shrimp scampi, seafood chowder. All delicious!!!! A lovely fire going to warm the place in welcome. Turns out going back Thursday. Can't wait!!!!
We live near the half Barrel and like to go there as often as possible. The food is always very good and plenty. Nice people, nice service. Very recommendable.
A very nice pub. The food is highly recommended, rarely eaten so well in Ireland. Have eaten there for dinner on Christmas Eve and were so satisfied that we often ordered a table there. On weekends with live music. Thank you for spending a few evenings with you. Greetings from Germany
Not before time am I writing this review. Go there most Saturdays with my friend and have never been disappointed. Steak sandwiche and chips are absolutely delicious. The excellent staff are amongst the best i have encountered. 100% recommend that people try this marvellous place.
