The staff did a wonderful job of making sure to take care of their diners. Assistant Manager, Darcy, coordinated everyone expertly to ensure the restaurant ran as smoothly as possible. What Peter Steinberg doesn't like about Mambo Mountain Italian:
Minestrone tasty but small portion for the price. Pasta dish was a large portion but the marinara sauce was not thick but thin and very watery. Loved the garlic bread. Not a bad experience but not wowed. View all feedback.
Celebrated our 42nd anniversary at Caio Mambo's and it was perfect. Wine food were fabulous and our server Darcy treated us so graciously and efficiently. She also provided recommendations for local hiking and outdoor activities. Mambos is a hidden gem in Whitefish !
Lots of garlic. Chef uses a heavy hand with amount of garlic. Bread would have been better if had been heated. Salads were fine, bit small. Entree was good, liked the meatballs. Server wasn't very familiar with menu couldn't speak to the various items on menu.
Italian Nachos shouldn't exist. Italian food should be simple and elegant.
The only concern we had is that it took along time. That being said I know the service industry is struggling to find help ! We love the place and worth the wait! Always a pleasure to dine there
Our server, Kaylee was very attentive, and her service was impeccable. When our order was delayed, the kitchen gave us a free order of nachos. This is one of our favourite restaurants in whitefish. It is a true treasure.
