Friend... read more We decided to eat here on a Friday night after going through West Glacier National Park and before going to our cabin. Very busy but we were seated fast. Friendly courteous staff. We both got burgers. Buns were made fresh that morning, beef freshly ground that morning, toppings were very flavorful. Also got the parm fries. All delicious....and I 'm very picky about my food! Since dinner was so good, we tried breakfast the next day. Again, busy but seated quickly, super staff, and everything was made fresh.....and you get a LOT of food. Husband got biscuits and gravy. I got eggs and buttermilk blueberry pancakes....and coffee with FRESH cream. Delicious! If you stop in Whitefish Montana, do yourself a favor and go eat at the Buf !!!!

The jalapeño served in the hellfire burger is finely chopped and integrated into the ingredients. Not my favorite- but inquiring about this before ordering is an easy fix. Got a perfectly cooked rare burger. That 's all I asked for. Has A+ rating by health dept (pay 3x more at 48 bistro for C rated poison... no joke). They are a local Cafe and should be proud. They aren 't pretending to be anything but good home cooked meals. I 'd eat their meatloaf everyday over other close by places that punch above their weight class with poison tartar and wagyu B.S. This is a classic Cafe that makes you feel welcome and full because they serve unpretentious good food. They know their lane, and the stay perfectly in it. That lane is good clean comfort food like mom makes.

The restaurant was busy, but the service remained attentive and friendly. I ordered the chorizo burrito, and my wife chose the eggs Benedict—both were delicious. Be sure to add the green chili hot sauce to the burrito; it really enhances the flavor. The place was clean and easy to locate. One suggestion would be to add a few pictures in the bathroom to brighten up the empty walls. Overall, great job by Buffalo Cafe in Whitefish! Their menu offers a wonderful selection worth trying.

The only downside is its popularity, which often mean... read more The Buffalo Cafe is a hidden gem in Whitefish that we absolutely love to visit whenever we're in the area. The only downside is its popularity, which often means there's a wait to get in. However, we believe it’s worth the wait. The food is outstanding, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the prices are quite reasonable. It would be great if they could find a way to expand their space to serve more customers!
