Nice clean place to see a movie. The food was unremarkable. I would not order a sandwich there again.

My husband and I love Fox Bay, we’ve been going to movies there for years and love the charm and date night atmosphere. However, last night we went to see Yesterday and we were told the theatre wasn’t ready so we went to the bar area to get a drink. After waiting 5 min a woman came out and said the bar area is closed because they were too busy. So, we went to our seats to await our server. We ordered our drinks and food right away and waited 45 min before our drinks came. As we continued watching the film servers came and went with other patrons food and finally, with about 20 min left in the film, a server came to us and asked if we would like anything else. We ordered another drink assuming our food was on the way. With 5 min left in the movie, a server gives us our bill, with our food on it, and asks us to pay. Mind you, we still haven’t eaten. When the server comes back with our adjusted bill and asks us to pay I politely say no, we’ll be speaking to the manager. We go out to the manager and explain what happened and he apologized saying “I’m sorry, I didn’t expect to be this busy on a Tuesday”. Understandable, but no excuse to not serve someone their food. I politely explain how we are paying for a sitter and now we have to go somewhere else to eat and he offers only apologies. So I pay the bill and we leave, with two free tickets valid Mon-Fri only. I’m deeply disappointed in the managers resolution and at the very least would have expected our drinks to be compensated. I do not know if this establishment is under new management or if they’re just going through a phase, however, I urge them to please be more kind to the patrons who visit and provide service that would want them to come back.
