Just stopped by on our way back to Edmonton, and this place was SO good!! We got the chicken beef shawarma wrap. The sauces were very flavorful, the meat was super tasty. Loved that the pita had zataar on it as well for extra flavor best shawarma we have had in a long time ! View all feedback.
What Gez Veliu doesn't like about Sajj Shawarma:
Its been a staple stop for ages, unfortunately portions are 1/3 of what they were, today on the menu was re heated sajj bread with reheated chopped meat not cut off the spit, rather cut in the kitchen, cooked and then reheated. Also $2+ for a bottle of water from superstore. View all feedback.
I've visited this restaurant, and I can confidently say that the food is absolutely delicious! The staff is very friendly as well!
I always make it a point to stop by when I'm passing through Whitecourt. I swear the food tastes better every time! The falafel is fantastic, and the owner is really great. They even gave me a freebie!
This restaurant has been a longtime favorite, but unfortunately, the portions are now only a third of what they used to be. Today, the menu offered reheated saj bread with reheated chopped meat that had been cut in the kitchen rather than off the spit. Additionally, a bottle of water from Superstore costs over $2.
This is an incredible Whitecourt stop! Both the beef and chicken shawarma is incredible, and I'm going to come back.Edit: I stop here almost every trip through Whitecourt. Fantastic food every time.
They are called Sajj, yet they serve their shawarma in Pita bread, which is not the same, they also charge the same amount as they would for Sajj bread, meat was not fresh.
