It has been some time since my last visit to The Watership Down Inn, but I am happy to report that everything is just as good as it was during my previous visit a couple of years ago. I recently met my family here for lunch on a hot day. View all feedback.
Very disappointing a noticeable decline in the quality of food since we last came for a meal. Very average food and poor atmosphere should have been buzzing on a Sat Eve but it was dead. Service: 1 Location: 2
The restaurant has delicious food and a great selection of beer. The service is friendly and prompt. I would rate the service as a 5 out of 5 and the location as a 5 out of 5.
Popped in today, with my partner, to sample the new menu and was honoured and privileged to be the first customers through the door to to sample their ned menu. I has the fish and chips and my partner had the 8oz double stack. Best food I’ve tasted for a while. Bar staff were friendly and welcoming. 2nd visit for me as went with work a few months back but 1st time with my partner. We both enjoyed the new treats we ordered. Highly recommend. Room was a bit loud due to boiler being close by but otherwise was great Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Romantic, Great value
Awful food and appalling service! Very expensive for what it is. Left hungry and disappointed. Not returning anytime soon or recommending this place to anyone. Service: 1
