The Hanmer Arms - Whitchurch

I started with the mackerel, which was the best I have ever had. The steak was incredibly delicious and full of meat. I didn't try the dessert, but my wife loved it. This restaurant is a hidden gem, so please keep it a secret so it stays special.

My family and I, along with good friends, visited this restaurant on Christmas Day and the service was excellent. We returned on New Year's Day and once again the food and service were top-notch. Today, we came for Sunday lunch and it was fabulous! We feel lucky to have this pub right on our doorstep. Thank you, Matt, you do a fantastic job! Our personal waitress, always with a smile, adds to the great experience, along with the rest of the friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely be back soon. Best wishes for 2018! This pub is fantastic with delicious food and a great atmosphere. I highly recommend trying the carvery.

This morning for an excellent breakfast. my wife had the tipper and I had the full breakfast. fantastic eating and excellent service and the best cup coffee I had in the local environment.

Delicious carvery. Fresh, local produce prepared with a special touch. Great to see a veggie and fish option alongside the meats. This pub with great food, wine and beer is going to fly.
