When the colder months arrive, cosy up by one of our open fires for warmth and comfort. Inside, you’ll find a carefully curated selection of local cask beers, freshly cooked dishes crafted from a regularly changing menu, affordable wines, and an impressive range of malt whiskies and gins, alongside your usual favourites. Our passion is sourcing fresh, quality ingredients and presenting them in a modern yet unpretentious style. Lovely country pub. An extensive and unique menu that gets away from 'pub ' food. Very welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Service was great and atmosphere lovely. Food let it down. £22 for a roast beef dinner and we were all still hungry after it! Most of the food on the plate was nearly cold and portion size was not enough at all. Nothing special. Price per person: £30–40 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Disappointed that there was not a lunch menu, just standard evening menu. Very limited small options for lunch time. Couldn't even get a cheese salad sandwich. Staff seemed disinterested also to be honest. Very poor as we have visited several times in the evening and been happy. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
