What חובב אשכנזי doesn't like about Sunset Grill:
Called in for a Famous All Day Breakfast and had an ordinary, basic experience. Tried the Crab Cake Benedict and wouldn't order again too much Hollandaise, very little asparagus and strong fake crab taste. Meal did not look at all like the poster (see...photos). Did appreciate that I could have fresh sliced tomatoes instead of fries. Service was fine and plenty of parking. For the price, could have had a much better... View all feedback.

Following a bad experience at their Pickering location, see the pictures for a big difference in portion sizes. The staff are great, always friendly and work well at this fast pace location as it is always busy. This is how a three egg special (scrambled) should look like. The Brooklin location actually is one of the best ones in the Durham Region.
I had organized a breakfast meeting for 3 at Sunset Grill in Whitby. Great service and delicious food. I had Turkey bacon and scrambled eggs made to perfection.
When you do not feel like cooking breakfast, this is the place to go. good service, reasonable prices, reasonable size portions, they are a variety of omelets (my number one choice) to choose from they come with Boston toast and home fries.Don;t order this if you are not a big eater or hungry .what you cant finish eat can be taken out.(trays are provided).
We travel a lot and it's become a tradition of ours that whenever we come home from a vacation this is where we go to unwind and reminisce about the great memories we just made. From the moment we enter we're offered to sit anywhere we like and the waitresses immediately bring over coffee so you have a hot drink while perusing the menu. Over the years, they've gotten to know that I always order the French Connection even though I'll still browse the menu while my husband decides. We absolutely love this restaurant and if I could give it ten stars I would as it's my personal favourite restaurant in Brooklin. The chef is amazing and cooks everything perfectly! Breakfast is always hot, the home fries are always crispy on the outside and moist inside and the eggs over easy are always hot and runny in the centre, never overcooked, undercooked or greasy. The Bacon is crispy and the French toast is thick and nicely done. We usually go at an off peak time and are never rushed to leave. We never have to ask for more coffee as the waitresses keep a mindful eye out without making you feel as though you're being watched. Staff are friendly and warm and I always ask our waitress to tell the chef our breakfast was excellent. Although it's very busy and hectic at peak breakfast hours on weekends, it's a wonderful place to go for an all day breakfast. We constantly witness a lot of people meeting friends and family there, and I've dined by myself a number of times and am always made to feel comfortable. In the years we've been going they've only ever raised their prices one time. I would really love to see if they could add a Full English breakfast to their menu, but for now it's very close. It costs us about $32 with a generous tip for the waitress who really deserves it and they have the best lollipops at the till when you go to pay the bill. They also have crayons and colouring pages to keep little ones engaged.
