Just went to this place for the first time ever and ordered their signature Jimmy G burrito!! Wow! This was the REGULAR size and when they were done it weighed Two Pounds. It was a perfect meal with just the right heat thanks to the Jimmy G special sauce. I recommend this place Big time! If you like hot stay away from adding the habenero peppers unless you want really hot. So Good!! Please try it out! View all feedback.
What Debbie Cromb doesn't like about Jimmy Guaco’s:
This is the fourth time our order was messed up or they didn’t have ingredients (how does a Mexican restaurant not have cilantro…. Or RICE!!!! for goodness sakes?? . The order was cancelled by the resto 1 hour before closing …it’s so disappointing to have this experience from a local resto you want to support. So unfortunate!! View all feedback.
Fantastic Burrito! Don't forget to get one of their Prefered customer cards. 10th is free!!!!
Definitely the better burrito joint of the two in north west Whitby! Don't bother with Mucho Burrito- the service is way more friendly here and the burritos are top notch! Lots of fresh and tasty choices including an option for those who can't eat the tortillas like my sister who has a gluten intolerance. Great atmosphere and fabulous food will make this my go-to spot for burritos in my new city! :
While mucho burrito makes a good burrito, it just doesn't compare to Jimmy's. Everything was really fresh and there were lots of different yummy toppings. So many great flavors going on in one burrito. Also, they use really good tortillas.

Best burritos for miles (not counting the Oshawa Jimmy Guaco 's). I 've been to the Oshawa restaurant many times, so I knew what to expect. The ingredients, preparation and final product are the same as in Oshawa. In other words, delicious. Compared to other 'chain ' burrito places, the ingredients are fresher, tastier, less salty, and do not seem to sit in water/sauce/oil for extended periods. Nor do they charge extra for their guacamole. The prices are a bit higher, but I do not mind because I think the better quality is there. My favourite burrito, and apparently for many others, is the pulled pork with the mango salsa. It was highly recommended to me the first time I went to the Oshawa restaurant I 'll pass along that recommendation. I find the tortillas here are a bit thinner and less heavy than other burrito places, but they hold your burrito together just fine until the last bite. You 'll have to travel a long way from here to find a better burrito.
