Gryphon Pub - Whitby

This is a cozy restaurant that serves great steak with good service. It's also a good spot to watch UFC matches.

This pub is quite good. They offer a customizable appetizer platter that is really cool and occasionally have live music, which is a fun touch. The drink menu is extensive with lots of options. The waitstaff is friendly and helpful.

I am giving this place a 4-star rating mainly because of the excellent service I received. I would have rated it a 2 or 3 based on the food served by Sarah, who I think is one of the managers. She was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and had a thorough knowledge of the menu. I ordered cauliflower bites, spinach dip, and cheese curds. Unfortunately, the cheese curds and cauliflower bites tasted very similar, and the spinach dip was only average. Would I return to this restaurant? Yes, but it wouldn't be a top priority for me.

I always have a great time here. Staff is great and any issues with food or drink or always fixed quickly and with incredible professionalism. Always would recommend here as a place to visit in the area.

I went to the graphon last week for dinner and I got half rack of ribs and jumbo wings(4-5) for 15$ without tax and it was yummy as always, great prices,
