I’ve been a patron for quite awhile and now decided to leave a review. Top notch ‘great’ ‘employees. Very kind hearted. Especially Judah. They sure know how to make your day, or evening happy. The food and coffee is always well prepared and put together. And never messed up an order. The south Oshawa location on Bloor st, by the Home Depot, is ‘horrible’ though. Complete opposite! What Food C doesn't like about Burger King:
I always do my reviews based on three things. Food/drinks, service and price bonus points for healthy and safety. Ordered two items Plant based burger And cheese bites, Burger was amazing, I am glad they have a vegetarian option in the menu now. amazing !!!! The service at this location is terrible We went through the drive thru a few weeks ago and received an incorrect order.
I had a quick meal here and it was very busy. It took time with 8 people in front of me. I did the two for one, a pulled pork sandwich and spicy fish. Both were really good most likely made fresh due to the line up. Also, the 1.99 nuggets were surprisingly good.
I have been to this Burger King a few times, usually without incident. I visited 07/28/2016 at approximately 7pm. I went thru the drive thru- and placed my order. I drive up to the window, the Female working was RUDE, never got a smile, a "Hi there"- NOTHING, she just handed me the debt machine and I paid. She handed me my bag of food, I checked the order- and it was wrong. I told the girl my order was wrong, so she grabbed the food out of my hand and said "That's what your ordered!". I was STUNNED. It was very clear she was not happy, dirty looks, rolling her eyes- she is very lucky i had my children in the car or this interaction would have tuned out VERY differently.I repeated my order again, she asked me to pull to the side and she'd bring it out to me. I then asked about the difference in price- since what she charged me for was more expensive I wanted back the difference in $$ (If I didn't say anything she was not going to reimburse me). Without saying anything she closed the window and disappeared. A manager came to the window and returned the difference. The manager was polite, however still never heard an "we're sorry, i'm sorry, i apologize"- NOTHING; no indication at all that they had messed up, or my 5 minute drive thru order had now turned into a 15 minute drive thru 3 ring circus. I pulled to the side- and waited, the manager brought out the items I was missing- and it was STILL wrong!! :O I almost died. Like REALLY?!?!? The manger told me the girl at my window gave me my items, so i repeated my order for the 5155465 time. I KNOW WHAT I ORDERED, and I KNOW WHAT I HAVE IN THE BAG. The manager then ran back inside and got me my last item. I held it down- and was nice to these people who clearly thought that I was in wrong for asking for what I ordered, not what they felt like I ordered. I don't mind if my order is messed up, it is not a big deal- it is how it is dealt with. This *girl* was SO RUDE like I did something wrong!!! YOU are the one who made the mistake! A simple "Sorry about that" would have worked wonders in this situation. Clearly this drive thru girl hates her job- and instead of doing something about it... like finding a new job she is going to take it out on every customer who has the unfortunate experience of driving thru while she is working!!!!!!
I went there for whopper meals when I have coupons with me because that is what I do for that kind of occasion.
We were on our way to Picton and stopped here for a quick lunch. My first time at Burger King and it was ok. We both had the whopper...shared fries and onion rings. Fries were not memorable...onion rings very good...not greasy. The whopper had a lot of flavour but was way too drippy...it would have been better with 1/4 of the sauce. Since this was my first BK experience I do not know if all locations put on the same amount of sauce..If I am at a BK again. I will certainly remember to tell them to hold the sauce. Otherwise, it was good...service was pretty good...busy weekend so can't fault the staff. I would return and definitely order... Onion rings.!
