River's Edge
Description
Perched on the river with a roomy deck and patio heaters, this locally owned spot shines for scenic views, friendly staff and events — weddings and showers receive glowing praise. Menu highlights range from standout fish & chips, pork chops and avocado fritters to a simple veggie burger and kid-friendly selections. Quality and service can vary: some diners report exceptional meals and attentive crews, others note tepid or misrepresented entrées, coupon issues, and staffing shortages. Easy parking and good beer/wine round out the experience.

The food was incredible! In my opinion, it's the best pasta in the area. As for parking, there are fewer than 15 to 20 spots available.
I visited this restaurant before a concert at the Capital Music Hall and found their menu very limited, likely due to an event menu setup. Our food took nearly 30 minutes to arrive, which I didn’t mind since the restaurant was busy. However, the food was served cold. My wife requested to have her meal warmed up, but when it came back, it was still cold. Unfortunately, nothing about this experience makes us want to come back. I would recommend trying Generations or The Alpha instead.
My mom ordered the daily special, a club sandwich with fries, while her friend opted for a chicken wrap, possibly buffalo style. While I heard that the server was pleasant and the food was decent, it didn’t stand out as anything special. Instead of honoring the coupon, they offered a mere $2 off the total bill. It’s disheartening that they would advertise a deal but then not accept it, especially since they include numerous coupons and a full-page advertisement in the Enjoy book, which is also listed for the following year. So, if you're planning to visit this restaurant with the hope of using an Enjoy coupon, temper your expectations. We still have the new book, but I doubt they will honor the offer. There are plenty of better dining options available locally.
So, I found this gem of restaurant. It is locally owned, and they work really hard, and they can cook. I have this pork chops glazes and peaches on top. red skin smash potatoes and coleslaw. everything was great. they told me they just recently open since a lot of work road has been done. I hope you guys give it a try because they have something really good. amazing deck with a stunning view to the river, patio heaters and good wine (and also cold beer for $2.50, I don't know for how long). the food took about 20 minutes to come to my table, but it is not fast food remember that. I will definitely come back.Parking: easy way to park which it is so nice in this area
